Reopening and Reuniting at Stratford in the Age of COVID-19

As California counties have begun to allow schools to reopen for in-person instruction, many of Stratford’s schools are in the process of welcoming K-8 students back to campus, with stringent health and safety protocols in place.  Prospective families are invited to schedule a tour and learn more.

Shana Gutierrez has 17 years of experience in the field of education, and currently teaches kindergarten at Stratford School’s Fremont Curtis campus. In addition to teaching her kindergarten class, Shana also serves as a campus resource teacher.

Seeing the wonder in children’s eyes and watching them process newly acquired knowledge is extremely fulfilling to Shana, who has seen her kindergarteners grow through the Stratford program all the way through eighth grade. With the combination of strong academics and character education, Shana sees well-rounded, compassionate citizens graduate from Stratford School.

Shana loves the warm, family atmosphere of Stratford, believing it helps faculty, children, and parents feel comfortable learning and growing at Stratford.
