Stratford preschool and pre-kindergarten students participate in imaginative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) play daily.

Using a variety of materials such as Legos, Play Dough, Stencil Art, and Linked Cubes, students use hands-on exploration to answer "big idea" questions such as "How can you clean up an oil spill?" or "The crab has sharp pinchers, how can you pick it up without getting pinched?"

All activities during imaginative play tap into the innate curiosity in all young minds, and foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
