Reopening and Reuniting at Stratford in the Age of COVID-19

As California counties have begun to allow schools to reopen for in-person instruction, many of Stratford’s schools are in the process of welcoming K-8 students back to campus, with stringent health and safety protocols in place.  Prospective families are invited to schedule a tour and learn more.

Usha Santhanam

Preschool Teacher

Usha Santhanam teaches preschool at Stratford School's De Anza Park campus.

As an educator, Usha believes that her role is to help her students become confident and curious. She wants her students to develop a lifelong love of learning and see learning as a fun and enjoyable process.

Usha's classroom is full of fun experiments and hands-on activities. She keeps her students curious by asking open-ended questions and connecting real-life scenarios to the current curriculum topics.

Usha chose Stratford because she believes it provides a platform that gives freedom to teachers to teach the curriculum in a creative way. Stratford offers a balanced curriculum that not only challenges a child's cognitive, social, and physical development and does so in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
