Veronica Brenes

Preschool Teacher

Veronica Brenes brings over ten years of experience in the field of early childhood education to her preschool classroom at Stratford School's Altadena Allen campus.

Veronica knows that starting early matters; building a strong foundation for learning is what she strives to foster in her preschool classroom. Creating a safe and nurturing environment is critical for students to learn not just academic skills but also respect, collaboration and confidence. She also believe this creates a space where a child's creativity can grow and ultimately, where a child can reach his or her full potential.

A winner of an Early Childhood Educator award, Veronica has always been passionate about creating a strong foundation for her students. The power to make a difference in the life of a child keeps Veronica motivated and passionate; it is incredibly rewarding for her to see her students' faces when they learn, create, and discover inside and outside the classroom. Most of all, she says, she loves learning from her students.

Veronica chose Stratford because of the family environment and strong STEAM-based curriculum. She believes that the environment fosters a loving and trasnparent community between children, parents and teachers, which is essential for a child to succeed.
