About the presentation: Join us to explore how children and families can develop a healthy and safe relationship with technology and AI in today’s digital world. Dr. Lee will discuss the benefits and risks of screen use, including impacts on physical health, emotional regulation, sleep, and social development. Learn how to navigate cyberbullying, digital footprints, hackers and scammers, harmful influencers, and how to use social media, video games, and phones in an age-appropriate way. With the rise of AI, Dr. Lee will also discuss the risks and how to develop practical strategies for setting boundaries, keeping the parent-child communication line open, and helping children verify information. This presentation will help parents and children think critically about technology to support safe, responsible use while building a strong family relationship.
