Reopening and Reuniting at Stratford in the Age of COVID-19

As California counties have begun to allow schools to reopen for in-person instruction, many of Stratford’s schools are in the process of welcoming K-8 students back to campus, with stringent health and safety protocols in place.  Prospective families are invited to schedule a tour and learn more.

Emily Schaller


Emily Schaller is a teacher at Stratford School's Santa Clara Pomeroy campus. 

Emily believes that every child has the potential to learn given the right environment and encouragement. As a teacher, it is her job to find a way to support each of her students' learning. She believes that good educators help children develop a love of learning that will last long after leaving Stratford. 

Teaching has always been Emily's calling. She loves kids and the opportunity to help them discover a love of learning. Teaching also affords Emily the opportunity to continually feel challenged in her career. 

Emily chose Stratford because of its tradition of excellence. She feels supported and encouraged by the team at Stratford to pursue new opportunities and try new projects. The team at stratford is collaborative; every teacher is willing to partner and create integrated learning opportunities for the students.
