Virtual Parent Speaker Series presents: “Supporting Your Child’s Emotional Regulation” with Cassie Korbfort, M.S. Ed.

Thursday, February 26, 2026

Join us for a virtual workshop to learn how you can help your child develop the necessary tools to support their emotional regulation, a critical factor in developing social skills, academic success, and establishing healthy relationships. In this presentation, parents will learn how to help children identify and label their core emotions (e.g., happiness, sadness, anger), recognize physical and behavioral cues associated with emotional states, teach and model regulation strategies (deep breathing, movement breaks, quiet zones), and support managing strong emotions while building self-awareness, resilience, and positive social–emotional skills.
