Lina Maria Serrato
"I believe that it is fundamental for children to feel loved and respected by their teachers."
Lina Maria Serrato joined the Stratford family this past year, and currently teaches Spanish to preschool and pre-kindergarten students at Stratford’s De Anza Park campus.
Each day, Lina strives to make her students feel loved and respected. She motivates students to express themselves, because she wants them to know that their ideas and feelings are important.
In her classes, Lina incorporates visual aids, puppets, songs, and games, because she knows that learning a foreign language can be abstract. She tries to help her students see, hear, feel and experience what they are learning.
Lina loves the family feel of Stratford School. She loves being part of a team of principals, teachers, staff, students, and families.
