Reopening and Reuniting at Stratford in the Age of COVID-19

As California counties have begun to allow schools to reopen for in-person instruction, many of Stratford’s schools are in the process of welcoming K-8 students back to campus, with stringent health and safety protocols in place.  Prospective families are invited to schedule a tour and learn more.

Mayte Tormo

Spanish Teacher

"I bring enthusiasm, cultural elements, and technology to reach my educational goals."

Mayte Tormo has over 20 years of experience in teaching foreign language, and currently teaches elementary Spanish at Stratford School’s De Anza Campus. She also serves as the head of the Spanish department.

Teaching in her native Spanish language enables Mayte to draw upon her personal experience as a foreign language learner. She hopes to instill an appreciation for another language and culture in her students.

Thanks to Stratford, Mayte is always learning, through professional development, collaborating with great peers, and most importantly, listening to her students.
