We offer several healthcare courses for students interested in a career in healthcare or medicine. In this course, our students learn about the work of doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals. They also learn medical terms, study the human body, and practice basic healthcare skills. Students in this class can also join our competitive club, Healthcare Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Through HOSA, students meet twice a week after school, participate in community projects, and attend special events. They also enter contests to win awards and scholarships for college.
