Math in Pre-Kindergarten
Each day begins with innovative play to encourage active thinking with counting and matching games.
Students learn to become aware of their surroundings and their place in the world during pre-K classes. They become familiar with the days of the week, and the months of the year through jingles and songs, making it easier to retain important information.
While many youngsters struggle to count to10, Stratford pre-K students learn to count in groups of 10, and to identify missing numbers on a 100-number chart. Stratford has high expectations for pre-K students, and they enthusiastically rise to the challenge each day.
