We know that parents have many choices for their child’s education. So, why do families choose Stratford School and stay with us until their child graduates? It’s because so many wonderful things happen at our private preschool and elementary school. Let us tell you more!
Our Special Projects
Innovation Lab
Our students have a dedicated space for collaborative STEAM learning, science presentations, and experiments. The lab gives the students and teachers many ways to work together and explore ideas. It has quickly become one of the most popular spots on campus. In this space, students can try new things, solve problems, and turn their ideas into real projects.
Importance of SEL
At Stratford, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is an important part of how we teach. From preschool through 5th grade, our students take part in weekly activities that build confidence, kindness, and a positive classroom. These lessons give them the emotional skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
Outdoor Garden and Playgrounds
Our school’s campus has a growing vegetable and fruit garden where the students help with watering and harvesting the plants. These activities teach them about nature, responsibility, and environmental care. We also have large playgrounds and a soccer field, giving our students daily chances for active play, teamwork, and outdoor fun.
Building Confidence
From preschool through 5th grade, our students build public speaking and leadership skills through class talks, group projects, and showcases. Our music program helps them grow by giving them a creative way to express themselves through performances. These experiences support learning and celebrate each student’s unique voice.
Children’s Business Fair
The Annual Children’s Business Fair lets our young business leaders share their creativity and business skills. The students design, market, and sell their products while learning about planning, budgeting, and working with customers. The fair also brings the school community together to celebrate our student’s imagination and teamwork.
