Mary has been in the education field for 38 years. She has been a proud member of Stratford School for 20 years. Mary considers the opportunity to work with children a privelage. Being a part of the Stratford family for several years has enabled her to watch students mature from preschool students into responsible and well spoken pillars of the community. Encouraging children to realize their full potential through academic and social-emotional learning is the nurturing approach that is necessary to help them be successful. Empowering children to own mistakes and learn from them fosters resiliency and a growth mindset. Mary believes that the future is in the hands of this next generation who have been taught to think critically and creatively. The ability to engage in the care of your family and larger community will result in success for everyone.
With over ten years in the field of education, Cecily Greer taught second, third, and fifth grades before she stepped into a leadership role. Ms. Greer’s passion for instructional leadership along with her rich experience in curriculum design and coaching are evident every time she steps into the classroom. Her students love her straight-faced sense of humor and cannot wait to share their latest learning adventure with their director. While Ms. Greer may find it hard to pick her favorite subject, her students have a hypothesis that Grammar might be her absolute favorite.
Ms. Greer looks forward to helping each of her students grow and flourish at school.
