Stratford Middle School is intentionally designed to balance guidance with exploration as students discover a variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities, pursue their personal interests, and discover connections with people. Students engage in new experiences, face risks, build self-awareness, gain confidence, and achieve greater independence.
Advanced academics are taught by subject-expert teachers who possess deep proficiency in the disciplines and employ their expertise to prompt students to establish deeper conceptual connections. After securing foundational elementary knowledge, middle school students extend and apply their learnings as they are challenged to think, question, express, and create to transform their ideas into action.
Our goal is to capture each child’s spark of curiosity and ignite it into a passion that will fuel a strong sense of self as a lifelong learner and confident leader who will thrive and generate a lasting and positive impact in the world.
