We recognize that parents have numerous options for their child’s education. Why do families choose Stratford School and stay with us until their child graduates? It’s because so many wonderful things happen at our private preschool, elementary, and middle school. Let us tell you more!
Our Special Projects
Etiquette Program for All Ages
Our students take part in an etiquette program as part of our emphasis on character development. This program helps our students learn to speak politely, recognize cultural customs, and grow their social skills. They learn about topics like friendly conversation, table manners, and online safety. Students practice these skills in class, at school events, and through community engagement. They learn to show kindness and respect, and feel confident in every situation.
Interactive Boards in Every Classroom
Every classroom has a smartboard that helps teachers deliver lessons using videos, pictures, and other tools. Teachers use them to keep students interested and involved in class. Learning becomes more fun with group work, problem- solving, and interactive activities.
Environmentally Friendly Campus
Our campus demonstrates our commitment to the environment with many green efforts. Solar panels make clean energy, while motion-sensor lighting saves power. We also have electric vehicle chargers to promote eco-friendly commuting. All of these tools help our students and teachers create a culture of environmental awareness. Everyone is encouraged to make choices that help protect the Earth.
Full-Time School Counselor on Campus
Our full-time school counselor plays a vital role in helping our students grow socially and emotionally. The counselor also teaches problem-solving skills and supports mental health. They meet with students one-on-one and also teach useful lessons in the classroom. Our counselor works closely with the teachers to make sure our school is a kind, welcoming, and safe place for all. They also help families by sharing ideas and tools to support students at home and at school.
International Academic Competition Host
We are proud to be the only Stratford school in Northern California chosen to host the International Academic Competition (IAC) regional event. In 2024, our campus made history by hosting the largest IAC regional competition ever. More than 500 students from schools across Northern California came together. They showed their knowledge, skills, and teamwork in a fun and exciting setting full of learning.
