Ethan Yan-Balmonte is the Extended Day Supervisor at Stratford Preparatory Milpitas. He is dedicated to cultivating a safe, welcoming, and engaging space for students. Ethan is committed to fostering positive relationships with students and ensuring all members of our campus have the support they need.
In his free time, Ethan can be found enjoying sports, vibing to new music, and spending time with his loved ones. Currently, Ethan is working towards a career in education where he can take his experience and passions to continue to make a difference in the lives of students.
As the Dean of Students at Stratford School Milpitas, Sweeny Youkhane is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging school community for students, families, and staff. She is passionate about helping students grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally, and believes that every student thrives when they feel seen, supported, and connected.
Before joining Stratford Schools, Sweeny worked in higher education, serving in student services and advising roles at Northeastern University, where she supported graduate students throughout their academic journeys. Her experience also includes academic advising at the University of Washington, teaching second grade, and serving in a variety of student support positions while earning her master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Southern California.
Throughout her career, Sweeny has been driven by a commitment to student success and creating meaningful educational experiences. She enjoys building strong relationships with students and families and partnering with educators to cultivate a school environment where every child can flourish.
Outside of school, Sweeny enjoys reading, rewatching The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and spending time with her black cat, Salem.
