Choosing Stratford School Santa Clara Winchester

We recognize that parents have numerous options for their child’s education. Why do families choose Stratford School and stay with us until their child graduates? It’s because so many wonderful things happen at our private preschool and elementary school. Let us tell you more!

Quaint Campus

As a small campus with a capacity of 185 students, we provide a close-knit, nurturing space where every child is known and supported. In our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, class sizes average just 20 students with two dedicated teachers. Our Kindergarten classes offer a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. This setting helps each child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Family-Oriented Environment

We place a strong emphasis on building meaningful partnerships with families. Student success thrives when school and home work together. Through open communication and regular updates, we ensure our parents feel informed and supported. Special events throughout the year create opportunities for families to engage with our community, celebrate milestones, and share in the child’s learning journey.

School Garden

Our school garden provides students with an opportunity to get outside and learn through hands-on experience. In this small but special space, children plant seeds, care for vegetables, and watch flowers grow. The garden helps them understand science and nature while also teaching responsibility, teamwork, and pride in their hard work.

Charitable Giving

Giving to others is a great way to help students learn about kindness and community. Every year, we plan events where students can take part in helping people in need. In October, we work with City Team to collect food for Thanksgiving. In November, we partner with Toys for Tots to gather holiday gifts. In February, students join the Kids Heart Challenge and raise money to support heart health. In the spring, families give clothing to the Hidaya Foundation during Ramadan.
