Mrs. Preeti Chadha has been part of the Stratford School family for over 20 years. Throughout her distinguished tenure, Preeti has taken on several teaching and leadership roles, including Preschool and elementary grade teacher, Campus mentor, Grade level chair, Vice principal, Principal, Leader Mentor, Leader Mentor for Leadership Academy, and most recently, Head of School for the Los Gatos and Belgatos Park campuses.

Mrs. Preeti Chadha currently serves as the Head of School for Stratford Los Gatos campus and Stratford San Jose Middle School.

Mrs. Preeti Chadha believes her role as an educator is to stimulate the natural curiosity in her students and ignite the love for learning. As a leader, she is committed to creating a positive learning environment for her students and strives to create close partnerships with families to offer support and guidance.

Joanie Campbell

Principal

Joanie has been a member of the Stratford community for over 18 years, starting as a parent, then teaching at the San Jose Elementary campus, teaching ELA at the San Jose Middle School campus, and now serving as Principal at SJMS. Her time with Stratford has given her a deep understanding of and appreciation for the school’s culture, families, and community.

As a teacher, Joanie taught many different grade levels, including fifth through eighth grade ELA. In addition to day-to-day teaching, she has held leadership roles throughout her career at Stratford. Each of these roles has allowed her to help steer our school in a positive direction and contribute to its success. 

Joanie’s experience as a Stratford parent and educator gives her an understanding of the exceptional environment at SJMS. She leads the SJMS campus with the same energy and dedication she consistently demonstrated in her classroom.

Karen Suty

Vice Principal

Karen is passionate about education, especially Middle School.  She earned her Masters of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Santa Clara University and has spent the last 15 years is PS – 8th grade school administration.

Karen is a servant leader who is committed to providing faculty and staff with everything they need to support student growth.  In addition, Karen is focused on creating a balance between rigorous academics, social emotional learning (life skills), and restorative justice for our students.  She recognizes that even discipline is another opportunity for learning!
