Reopening and Reuniting at Stratford in the Age of COVID-19

As California counties have begun to allow schools to reopen for in-person instruction, many of Stratford’s schools are in the process of welcoming K-8 students back to campus, with stringent health and safety protocols in place.  Prospective families are invited to schedule a tour and learn more.

Kendra Scott

Music Teacher

"I enjoy teaching at Stratford because it supports the philosophy of rigor without undue stress."

Kendra has nine years of teaching experience, and teaches music and language arts at Stratford School’s San Jose Middle School campus.

Kendra understands that each child comes to Stratford with unique experiences, interests, and learning styles. As an educator, Kendra hopes to draw on those experiences to help students develop good habits and become life-long learners. She works to ensure that every lesson has an element of fun, while also providing opportunities for students to stretch themselves.

As a music teacher, Kendra believes that each student can benefit from the study of music to better connect with their community and culture. She loves that Stratford stresses the importance of arts into the curriculum.
