We recognize that parents have numerous options for their child’s education. Why do families choose Stratford School and stay with us until their child graduates? It’s because so many wonderful things happen at our private preschool and elementary school. Let us tell you more!
Our Special Projects
Small Class Sizes, Big Impact
Our small class sizes make it possible for every student to be noticed, supported, and encouraged. In Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and grades 1–5, the student-to-teacher ratio is 12:1. Kindergarten has a 15:1 ratio. With fewer students in each class, teachers can tailor lessons to meet individual needs, provide personalized support, and create a space where everyone can succeed. This is one of the many ways Stratford helps each student reach their full potential.
Multicultural Week
We believe that learning about different cultures helps students expand their worldview and develop their creativity. When students think globally and learn to appreciate both similarities and differences, the entire school community becomes more welcoming and inclusive. One tradition we are especially proud of is Multicultural Week. During this week, our students explore customs, traditions, and ideas from around the world in fun and meaningful ways.
International Day
Families come together for our International Day celebration, which marks the end of our Multicultural Week. The event is filled with cultural performances, music, and entertainment from around the world. More than just a celebration, it reflects the global values we strive to teach every child.
Engaged Parent Community
Our parents play an important and active role in our school. Through the Parent Support Group, families work closely with teachers and staff to make the school experience even better. This team partners closely with teachers and staff to enhance the school experience through community events, fundraising efforts, and volunteer support. They help fund additional field trips and enrichment activities, while also fostering a strong sense of connection. It is one more way we work together to create a warm and vibrant school.
