Rekha Pardeshi brings over 30 years of experience as an educator and leader to her role as Vice Principal. She began her Stratford journey in 2001 as a teacher, later mentoring fellow educators and supporting curriculum development across campuses. Guided by her belief that every child deserves a nurturing, challenging, and inclusive learning environment, she is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in all students. Beyond Stratford, Rekha has served in key community leadership roles, working with schools, libraries, and nonprofit organizations to expand educational opportunities for students and families.
ECE Principal, Early Preschool - Transitional Kindergarten

Ms. Makaram brings a wealth of experience in education. With a Bachelors in Science and Credentials in Early Childhood education, she brings over 12 years of experience as an educator with 9 of these years in Stratford. She has taught Preschool, Pre-K, Kindergarten and First grade. In her role as Assistant Principal, she is dedicated to promoting a collaborative and positive school culture by supporting both students and staff, focusing on their safety and well-being, building strong relationships with parents to support student success and school initiatives. Outside of school, Ms. Makaram loves to spend time with her family and friends, paint, read and she enjoys listening to music.
Freda brings over 15 years of professional experience in entrepreneurship, general management, and finance in the US and China. Her passion for the Education community started when she shifted her focus to her children’s education after returning to the Bay Area. As an actively involved parent of two now high schoolers equipped her with the knowledge and understanding of the importance of a well-rounded education that goes beyond textbooks and how it can empower children to reach their full potential.
Freda is very excited to be a part of the Stratford Almaden community and looks forward to providing a personalized and supportive experience for each applicant and their family.
