We recognize that parents have numerous options for their child’s education. Why do families choose Stratford School and stay with us until their child graduates? It’s because so many wonderful things happen at our private preschool, elementary, and middle school. Let us tell you more!
Our Special Projects
Learning Beyond the Classroom Walls
In our Pioneer Park Playground, children explore, play, and connect with nature every day. With climbing areas, shade trees, and play structures, the park inspires creativity, movement, and social interactions. This outdoor space supports both physical growth and emotional well-being through meaningful experiences in nature.
Growing Through Music
Our music program begins with singing, dancing, and games that spark a love for music. Our students learn to read basic notes and rhythms in fun and engaging ways. Each month, they explore a new composer or theme in music history. As they grow, they develop vocal skills and learn to play instruments like drums, chimes, recorders, and keyboards. Music is part of daily life at Stratford, with students performing throughout the year to build confidence and share their creativity.
Stratford Family Events
We believe strong school communities grow through shared experiences. That’s why we host monthly family events that bring everyone together. From the kindness celebrated during Lion Love Week to the fun of our Pancake Breakfast, each gathering creates lasting memories. Our families also enjoy an outdoor Family Picnic and share traditions at the Multicultural Potluck. These special moments strengthen the bonds between students, families, and staff.
Empowering Tomorrow’s Changemakers
Our Middle School Leadership program helps our students grow into kind and compassionate leaders. Through activities like a ropes course, they practice trust, teamwork, and resilience. The students also organize events for younger grades. They perform engaging skits and presentations and lead charity projects. These experiences cultivate responsibility and creativity, empowering students to make a positive impact in our community.
Students Making a Difference
At Stratford, our student-led charities, such as Hope Alliance and Stockings for Hope, provide every student the chance to impact their community. Through Hope Alliance, the students find local needs and host donation drives, fundraisers, and awareness events. Stockings for Hope spreads holiday cheer by providing stockings filled with essentials and small gifts for those in need. These programs build empathy and leadership skills while teaching the importance of service and giving back.
