Joining Stratford in 2015 fresh out of high school for her very first professional role, Marilu has spent the last decade growing alongside our community. She first made an impact in Extended Care before quickly stepping up as a Team Lead and later serving as an Extended Day Supervisor. Driven by her lifelong dream of teaching, Marilu eventually transitioned into the classroom, where she has been passionately teaching Spanish.
In addition to her brilliant work in the classroom, Marilu has spent the last three years leading our Student Council, where she has masterfully spearheaded campus student activities. Her passion for fostering a joyful, inclusive school culture shines through in everything she does. She thrives on building meaningful connections with students, celebrating diverse backgrounds, and creating unforgettable campus memories. With her deep understanding of our community and her natural ability to connect with students, Marilu is uniquely equipped to elevate our student life experience.
Dean of Students
Khloe has dedicated her career towards advocating for students’ well-being. She has worked in education for over 10 years and joined the Stratford family in 2018. With a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education and experience working in various educational institutions, she has developed an understanding of the importance of creating student safety alongside student joy. While she was a Language Arts teacher, she simultaneously worked for a STEM and innovation learning company, Galileo Learning, for almost 10 years. During her time there, she directed large teams of staff and thousands of learners to feel supported while they engaged in a project-based curriculum. Khloe is committed to enhancing student life with events and initiatives that promote a positive student environment. Her passion for helping students live achieving and fulfilling lives has led her to excitedly take on this role as Dean of Students.
Ada has been a Stratford parent since 2022 and has been actively involved in organizing both classroom and school-wide events. With a strong background in student support and community engagement, she brings a thoughtful and personalized approach to the admissions process. Ada values Stratford’s commitment to academic excellence and personal growth, which she has seen firsthand through her own two children’s experiences. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, she offers a culturally inclusive perspective and enjoys connecting with families from diverse backgrounds. Ada understands that each student’s learning journey is unique and is committed to guiding students and families through this transformative process with care and compassion.
In her role as Operations Manager at Stratford Preparatory Blackford, Marytza brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting students, staff, and families. With a strong background in educational operations and a passion for creating efficient, welcoming environments, Marytza plays a key role in ensuring the daily success of Stratford Prep’s campus life. Known for her dedication, organizational expertise, and collaborative spirit, she is contributes to the continued growth and excellence of the Stratford Prep community.
