To assist prospective students and families, we have outlined key information below about the Stratford Preparatory admissions process.  Additionally, we’ve provided a printable Stratford Preparatory High School Admissions Checklist for your convenience.

9th Grade Application Process (New Students)

The first step of the application process is to create an account through Ravenna. After you create your account with Ravenna, select San Francisco Bay Area as your school region and search for Stratford Preparatory High School.

  • Class of 2030 Application Deadline: January 16, 2026
  • Admissions Decisions: The High School notifications date is Friday, March 13, 2026 by 4:00 PM. The deadline to submit an enrollment contract and $2500 non-refundable deposit is Friday, March 27, 2026.

Letters of Recommendation

Confidential letters of recommendation forms can be requested through Ravenna. Stratford Preparatory requires two letters of recommendation:

  • English teacher recommendation form
  • Math teacher recommendation form
  • Science teacher recommendation form (optional)

Family Interview

After submitting their final application, applicants must sign up for a family interview through the online application process.

Standardized Testing

If your student is applying for regular admission and is currently enrolled in Stratford Middle School, we are happy to review their CTP scores from the end of Grade 7 in place of the ISEE or SSAT scores. However, if your child would like to submit additional test scores to enhance their application, they are welcome to do so.
