Josh joins Stratford Preparatory Blackford with a passion for instruction and instructional coaching, a commitment to student achievement, and an emphasis on community engagement. He brings over 14 years of experience in education, spanning middle school through college, along with a background in editing and writing for publication. Josh holds a BA Degree in English and an MFA Degree in Creative Writing. Before transitioning to an administrator position, Josh taught English and composition for several years and served as both ELA Coordinator and private high school prep instructor. In his leadership roles, Josh has extensive experience in professional development, student growth, and school culture. He believes that children thrive off of passionate, enthusiastic educators who build meaningful connections with their students.
