The 2027 Niche rankings are in! All of Stratford School’s qualifying campuses earned an A ranking or higher, with most campuses earning the prestigious A+ badge. This means Stratford School ranks in the top 2.5% nationally, placing it in the highest tier of private and public schools. It is important to note that the Niche rankings only include Stratford School campuses with K-12 grades. Preschool-only campuses do not currently qualify for Niche rankings.

What does a Niche ranking measure?

Niche rankings measure core features of a school, including academics, faculty, enrichment, clubs, student life, diversity, college preparation, college placement, and more. These rankings give an overall view of how successful and well-rounded a school is.

How does Niche calculate grades and rankings?

According to Niche, the “grades and rankings are calculated by a team of experts using dozens of public data sets and millions of real reviews.”  Data comes from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education, state test scores, and graduation rates, among other publicly tracked data. Niche also relies on direct, first-hand insight from parent, faculty, and student reviews. 

Niche collects data from its verified sources and analyzes it “using advanced algorithms and statistical analyses that compares, normalizes, and connects millions of data points for schools, colleges, and neighborhoods nationwide.” Families across the country use this compilation of data and trusted analytics to make informed decisions about the best possible school to invest in for their child’s future.
