We are proud to celebrate the college acceptances of our inaugural graduating class at Stratford Preparatory Blackford. Over the past several months, our 65 seniors have experienced the excitement and anticipation of the college admissions season, and today marks the culmination of their hard work and thoughtful decision-making. 

Our founding class has earned acceptances to an exceptional range of highly selective institutions, including Princeton University, Cornell University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Cambridge, and Georgia Tech, among many other notable institutions. Students will also attend prestigious University of California campuses, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC Riverside, and UC Merced.

In a testament to this class’s academic caliber, 14% of our graduating seniors earned National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist distinctions, placing Stratford Preparatory Blackford among the nation’s top college-preparatory programs. To put that into a broader perspective, fewer than 1% of students nationally earn this distinction each year.

These impressive results demonstrate the hard work and academic achievement of our students, as well as the dedication of our educators to fostering independent, multifaceted, and purpose-driven students who are ready to succeed in a dynamic global environment.  

Beyond their acceptances, our graduates are preparing to pursue a diverse array of fields that reflect both their passions and the demands of a rapidly evolving world. Areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Neuroscience, Public Health, Robotics, Design, and more.

As we enter the final month of the school year, we will continue to celebrate this remarkable group of students. Their achievements set a strong foundation for the future of Stratford Preparatory Blackford, and we are excited to cheer them on as they begin their next chapter.

Stratford Prep Blackford offers over 25 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, 8 challenging Advanced Studies Courses, and a distinguished Computer Science program that includes college-level classes.
