Stratford Cares!

Today we salute the tremendous hearts of our Stratford students and families, and all of our Stratford School campuses, who contributed to an amazing year of community giving. Each year, our students at each campus choose, plan, and organize their own charitable giving campaigns that will have a meaningful impact on their communities. In addition to local charitable efforts, our campuses also participate in raising funds for national charities such as the Red Cross, St. Jude’s, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and the American Heart Association, where we have now crossed the $2 million mark in lifetime giving across all Stratford School campuses. Thank you to everyone who has given their time and opened their hearts and wallets so generously to support such worthy causes. The care and compassion of our students and families truly does make a difference in our communities. 

We are proud to share the impact we made through our campus giving initiatives. In the 2022/26 school year, Stratford campuses contributed:

    • $229,720 in monetary donations
    • 4,063 pounds of food & 10,000 meals to food banks such as Rise Against Hunger, the Milpitas Food Pantry, Second Harvest, and the SF/Marin and Alameda County Food Banks
    • 125 dozen cookies for the Elizabeth House
    • 187 coats, 13,600 pairs of socks, 200 hygiene kits, 1,100 comfort kits, 700 personal care items, 15 boxes of personal items, and 12 barrels of clothing & household goods for organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, One Good Coat, Loaves and Fishes, Motel Kids, and more.
    • Nearly 3,000 toys donated to Toys for Tots, Family Giving Tree, Abode Homeless Shelter, and more
    • 700+ books
    • 250 sports equipment items for the Boys and Girls Club
    • 262 trees planted
    • 55 letters to veterans 
    • 150 holiday stockings for Project Hope Alliance
    • 110 school kits
  • Over 130 lbs of Pet food and supplies for Pasadena Humane Society, San Bruno Animal Shelter, San Jose SPCA, and the Tri-Valley Humane Society
